John P. Varda : ウィキペディア英語版 | John P. Varda John P. Varda (October 6, 1916 – February 20, 1993)〔'Social Security Death Index〕 was an American politician and jurist. Born in Hurley, Wisconsin, Varda received his bachelor degree from University of Wisconsin–Madison and his law degree from University of Wisconsin. In 1941, Varda and his wife Margaret moved to Eagle River, Wisconsin where they opened a law firm: Varda & Varda. In 1941, he served in the Wisconsin State Assembly on the Wisconsin Progressive Party. Varda resigned from the Wisconsin Assembly to join the United States Army. His wife Margaret was elected to the Wisconsin Assembly under the Progressive Party replacing her husband, but did not seek reelection and joined her husband in the military after her term.〔Margaret P.
